The service

GeoPlay is a free geography game. It is offered as is: features can change, and the site may sometimes be unavailable.

Your account

You must be 13 or older to create an account, and you confirm this when you sign up. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens under your account. Choose a display name that is not offensive and does not pretend to be someone else; GeoPlay may change such names or suspend accounts that break these terms.

Fair play

Leaderboards are only fun when they are fair. Do not use bots, scripts or multiple accounts to raise your score, and do not try to break or overload the site. Scores that look like cheating may be removed and accounts may be suspended.

Content

The questions, texts, games and design of GeoPlay belong to GeoPlay, except for the map data and imagery, which are used under their own licences and credited on the globe in the game. You may share screenshots and your results; please do not copy the questions or the archive in bulk.

Accuracy

Questions are checked carefully, but mistakes can happen and borders and facts can be disputed. GeoPlay is a game, not a reference work. If you find an error, please report it.

Liability

GeoPlay is free and provided without warranty. As far as the law allows, GeoPlay is not liable for any loss caused by using the site.
