How to play

The same rules for every quiz.

  1. Pick a part of the world, then a quiz: its countries, its flags or its capitals.
  2. The top bar names a place. Click it on the map, or pick its flag from the list.
  3. You get three tries: right first time turns white, then yellow, then orange.
  4. Miss three times and it turns red and is shown. Your score and time come last.

Questions

All 193 independent countries. Territories such as Greenland or Puerto Rico are drawn on the map but are not asked.

Right on the first try is worth 100%, the second 50% and the third 25%. A miss is 0. Your score is the average over every place.

How do I find tiny countries?

Very small countries and islands have a round dot so you can click them. You can also zoom with the mouse wheel or by pinching, and drag to move the map.

Is my best score saved?

Yes, in your browser. Each quiz remembers your best score and time.
